Tutoring and Homework Help for Military Families

All students whose parents serve in the military can now work with a live professional tutor online 24/7 to get help with homework, studying, and test prep, the minute they need it, thanks to a Department of Defense funded contract with Tutor.com.

Tutors are available, free of charge, for children of active duty military, activated Guard and Reserve, DoD civilians, as well as spouses and adults in these categories. Students can connect to an expert tutor online nearly instantly, with no appointment.

Tommy T. Thomas, Deputy Under Secretary of Defense, Military Community and Family Policy, said "We are pleased to expand this program to all U.S. military families and provide peace of mind that their children are never alone when it comes to learning – there is always a certified, professional tutor available to help."

Tutors are available for assistance with math, science, English, social studies, homework, essay writing, test prep, resume, job search, GED prep, and more. Every tutor is screened, certified and background checked. No personal information is ever shared between tutor and student. Parents need to initially register through their respective service.
