Military Families

Being a military family is not easy. It takes courage. It takes commitment. It takes love. Supporting the military family is at the heart of the Military Impacted Schools Association. As parents willingly risk their lives to protect our country, their children are left behind to continue living their lives knowing there is very little that feels normal. As educators, it is our job to help those children and those families cope with the worry that goes along with being a military family. We not only teach academics, we offer military families connectedness, camaraderie and counsel. Our commitment to them is as strong as their commitment to protecting our country. We will, as an organization, serve as an unwavering advocate for the military child, the military family and the military community.
